We love the way a hood mount looks on a truck. It’s streamlined, but powerful, slick but not too fussy. If you want a rig that’s custom outfitted for your 1994 to 2003 Dodge Ram or Dakota, then this is the best mount for you. This no-drill install attaches right to the fender bolts on either side of your pickup. Designed from rust-resistant stainless steel and recommended for antennas up to 4' tall.

Details
This stainless steel mount is primarily used to install antennas on the 1994 through 2003 Dodge Ram and Dakota pickups. (Due to body changes made in 2004, this mount will not fit 2004 and newer vehicles.) When the hood is open, the fender bolt near the firewall is removed (right or left side) and later reused to bolt the antenna bracket to the fender lip under the hood. All mounting hardware is hidden under the hood. Mount includes additional stainless steel sheet metal screws for extra strength and support. The bracket has a predetermined bend and does not interfere with hood closure. The bracket is 2" (51mm) wide by 4.1" (104mm) long. The included stud requires PL-259 screw-on coaxial connectors. However, we do have a mini kit that has the bracket and FireRing coax in one package. If you don't already have the coax, the mini kit (MK-184R) would be a better choice.
