Its thin diameter stainless steel whip and bottom load design give you that symmetrical, factory-look to your car without any frills or fluff—just peace of mind that you're connected.
Like all CB antennas, the Procomm antennas should be fine-tuned (SWR) in their final mounting location. If you have ever tuned a non-tunable tip antenna, you will have a real appreciation for the Procomm antennas. In short, tuning is as easy as turning the adjustment rings up or down as needed.
All antennas, regardless of style or manufacturer, need to be tuned after installation on the vehicle. Transmitting antennas are not "plug-n-play" devices.

Choosing Antenna Length
The longer your antenna, the better your CB system will perform. So we recommend using the longest antenna you possibly can! Here are the approximate ranges you'll get with 2', 3' and 4' Procomm antennas:
- 2' Long - 1 to 2 miles
- 3' Long - 2 to 3 miles
- 4' Long - 3 to 5 miles
